Puppy Questionnaire
Before completing the Puppy Questionnaire, read through our deposit and selection process and pick up policy, which you will find below. Be sure to only fill out the Puppy Questionnaire if you are serious about purchasing one of our pups. We will contact you within 24 hours if your application is approved.
Deposit and Selection Process
Once we have received your questionnaire responses and approved you to move forward with purchasing a puppy, we will contact you with information on where and how to send a deposit. $200 will be needed to reserve your spot on the puppy list. Deposits are nonrefundable unless in the event we do not have a puppy for you after whelping. This generally does not happen as we are conservative with our planning. When the puppy picking process begins, we will start in the order we received deposits. We will provide all families with information regarding the temperament of each puppy available to them when it is their turn to pick.
Pick Up Policy
To pick up your puppy, we offer two options. 1) You can come out to our farm, located in Bowdon, Georgia. We are eight miles off of Interstate 20, and are approximately 45 minutes west of Atlanta. 2) We can meet you at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
How We Raise Our Puppies
Socialization: From the time our puppies are born they are surrounded with intriguing sights, smells, and sounds. From three days old to fourteen days old, puppies are gently massaged in order to stimulate brain development and familiarize them with human touch. At four weeks old, the puppies leave their whelping area and mother daily to play with toys. Once they have reached six to seven weeks old, they are introduced to situations such as playing with our grandchildren, interacting with our adult dogs, and exploring our large fenced run area complete with a field and stream. At eight weeks old, they are ready to head to their new homes.

The Beginnings of Training: Winding Branch puppies are introduced to quail at seven weeks old. Quail are placed in a field, and the pups are allowed to come near the bird and get a feel for its scent. Later, we present the pups with a quail, letting them run around and show off their prize. Our Brittany & GSP puppies also become acquainted with wearing a collar, walking on a leash, and staying in a crate for small amounts of time.

All of our socialization and training routines help make the puppy's transition into your home seamless and makes the process of training a fine gun dog (and pet!) a great deal easier. Our goal is to do as much as we can with your pup so that when they leave us, they will be a joy to train.
